Your focus has been on preparing for birth—now comes the postpartum period, the fourth trimester.

What comes next?

As a postpartum doula, I help protect this sacred time in a culture that pressures new mothers to “bounce back.” It doesn’t have to be this way.

My holistic approach offers consistent, traditional, physical, and emotional care, supporting you as you transition into motherhood.
Through steady guidance and advocacy, I hold space for you and your family so you can focus on what matters most—for you and your newborn.

Closing ceremonies, often referred to as Closing the Bones, are nurturing postpartum rituals with roots in South American traditions. I have been trained to offer this ceremony with cultural respect, thoughtfully adapting it to both my own lineage and your unique background.

Traditionally held at the end of the first 40 days postpartum, this ceremony supports physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery, marking the completion of a significant life chapter. It can also honour other transitions, such as closing an emotional chapter or entering menopause.

Ceremonies may include an herbal bath, gentle massage with infused oils and salts, and a closing wrap, all held in a safe, nurturing space with soft music and guided meditation to encourage relaxation and realignment.

Each ritual takes place in the comfort of your home, one-to-one or with a small circle of trusted women, offering grounding, restoration, and deep honour for your journey.

Being held, nourished, and supported after birth is not a luxury - it is your birthright.

Postnatal doula care creates the space for deep healing, intuitive parenting, and meaningful bonding with your newborn, at a pace that honours your body, emotions, and baby.
