Hello, I’m Sami! Designer, Yoga Teacher, Women’s Circle Facilitator and Birth & Postpartum Doula based in Cornwall.

While this may seem like quite a combination, these practices sit harmoniously at my heart. Each element of my work is rooted in intention, creativity, care and connection. I’m deeply grateful to share this path with you.

After twelve years in the fashion industry and a long-standing dedication to slow fashion, I felt a growing pull to create with deeper purpose and contribute more meaningfully to my Cornish community. To build a hybrid practice grounded in emotion, responsibility and human connection.

Creating has always been essential to how I process and engage with the world. Yoga and holding women’s circles have become powerful ways of creating space for embodiment, reflection, connection and coming home to ourselves. Additionally to this I felt a drawn to something raw and sacred. I felt called to support birthing people and their families.

Watching friends and colleagues navigate pregnancy and the transition into motherhood felt intense and wild. The lack of support and systems around this sacred time does not sit comfortably with me.

Training with Red Tent as a birth and postpartum doula has been one of the most affirming decisions I have made, deepening my perspective and reconnecting me with purpose. I’m honoured to be part of a network of doulas in Cornwall, offering care and ceremony rooted in tradition, compassion and respect.

Pregnancy, birth and the transition into parenthood are profound life passages. Through doula support, yoga and women’s circles, I create steady, nurturing spaces for people to slow down, listen inward and reconnect with their innate power, wisdom and potential.
