Yoga and holding women’s circles have become powerful ways of creating space for embodiment, reflection, connection and coming home to ourselves. Watching friends and colleagues navigate pregnancy and the transition into motherhood felt intense and wild. The lack of support and systems around this sacred time does not sit comfortably with me. Training with Red Tent as a birth and postpartum doula has been one of the most affirming decisions I have made, deepening my perspective and reconnecting me with purpose. I’m honoured to be part of a network of doulas in Cornwall, offering care and ceremony rooted in tradition, compassion and respect.
